Our Mission

Our mission: We want to improve the sport of paintball by bringing modern business tools.

New Age Paintball is owned and founded by 1 man,Richard King. I got into the sport at just 12 years old and fell in love with it, going out every sunday, by myself most days. I loved every single thing about the sport and being out at the parks on the weekends was the highlight of my life. It would only be a few years before I started to ref and interact with the sport from that perspective. I have refereed paintball since I was only 15 years old and picked up many tools to be better at it. When I am on the clock my players play more games, shoot more paint, and have a better time when compared with other ref’s at any field I am working at.

I have written down many of these tips and tricks in order to provide a product to field owners that will allow them to train their ref’s better and faster, leading to a better time for their players. The only thing I want to do is to see Paintball do better and the two best ways to do that are for fields to bring in more money and for their players to have a better time. I could have simply told every ref at my home field these tricks, trained them to be a better ref, but this would have only improved my home field and not the sport at all. During the process of making this book I graduated from Elizabethtown College with a degree in accounting. I have used this knowledge and the plethora of small business classes to prepare spreadsheets and tools for fields to allow them to run more efficiently and with the analytics that modern businesses have. I have prepared these tools not just with the knowledge I gained from school, but more importantly with my deep knowledge of the sport and what can help fields be the best that they can be.
